Dana Marie Boyd

Dana "Marie" Boyd, age 96, of Jackson, Michigan, went home to be with her Lord on March 30, 2023. She was born on November 26, 1926, in McLeansboro, Illinois, to Dorse and Lula (Mclain) Phillips.

She is survived by her beloved son Mark Boyd (Jule) Dawsonville, Georgia; grandsons, Lloyd Bryan Baker, Brandon Baker, Christopher Boyd, Matthew Boyd, and numerous great-grandchildren.

Preceded in passing by her loving husband Marion F. Boyd; daughter Allegra Baker (Lloyd); parents Dorse and Lula Phillips; her five siblings.

Marie worked many years for the National Bank of Jackson/Comerica Bank. She was a member of Grace Southern Baptist Church. She will be forever remembered and loved by her family, friends, and those who knew her.

Interment will be at Springhill Cemetery, Stonefort, Illinois on Saturday, April 7, 2023. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family will arrangements.
