Daniel Lee Crain

Herrin- Daniel Lee Crain, age 56, of Herrin, passed away at 2:12am on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Herrin Hospital.  Daniel was born in Herrin on November 25, 1958, the son of Howard Eugene and Donna (Cox) Crain. He married Paula Odom in Herrin on November 20, 2015. She survives in Herrin.  Mr. Crain was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Herrin. He was retired from Wal-Mart where he had served as a Department Manager.  Survivors include his wife Paula Crain of Herrin Mother- Donna Crain of Herrin Several nieces and nephews- Kayla and Baker Wiggs      Hanna and Carson Myers      Joey Clardy      Renee Odom Several cousins- BariLynn and Jim Musgrove      Randy and Mary Cox      Keith and Denise Cox      Gail and Vince Godley Special Cousin- Larry Giles of Naperville Uncle and Aunt- Tom and Betty Cox of Belleville Aunt- Beulah Cox of Griffin, GA Mother-in-law and Father-in-law- Gary and Langdon Odom of Herrin Brother-in-law- Mike Odom of Herrin Two sisters-in-law- Trisha Wiggs of Herrin      Erica and Mike Clardy of Glasgow, KY  He was preceded in death by his father.  Graveside services will be held 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Carterville.  A time of visitation will be held from noon until 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.  For those who prefer, memorial donations may be made to the Children’s Miracle Network.
