Herrin - Daniel Rosenow, 62, died at 4:25 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2003 at the Marion VA Medical Center.
He was born August 24, 1940 in Kewanee, IL to William Waugh and Katherine (Henchard) Rosenow.
He married Viola Sue Bean December 13, 1961 in West Frankfort, IL. She survives of Herrin.
He was a coal miner at Old Ben Coal # 27 in West Frankfort, IL and worked at Phillips Dodge for 10 years in DuQuoin. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and a member of the West Monroe Street Apostolic Church in Herrin. He enjoyed gardening and reading. He also enjoyed taking care of his squirrel that he fed outside his home every day.

His father, one son, Alexander Bernard Rosenow, one brother, Franklin Rosenow preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2003 at Johnson Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Terry Griffith will officiate. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will be cremated after the service for private interment.
