Dannie Mae Pigg

Pittsburg- DANNIE MAE PIGG, age 78, of Pittsburg, passed away at 11:22am on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at her home in Pittsburg. Dannie Mae was born in Decatur County, TN on February 10, 1931, the daughter of Jerry and Vannie (Davidson) Walker. She married Rex Pigg in Mississippi on August 2, 1952. He preceded her in death on January 20, 2005. Mrs. Pigg was a homemaker. Survivors include three sons- Jamie, Jerry, and Joe Pigg all of Pittsburg, IL One sister- Evelyn Pevahouse of Clifton, TN Several nieces and nephews Dannie Mae was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday, March 9, 2009 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. John Howat officiating. Burial will follow at #8 Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. For those who prefer, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
