David "Davey" Herring

David “Davey” Herring, 29, passed away on Sunday July, 26, 2020 at St. Louis University Hospital after a brief illness.

Davey was born July 9, 1991 in Daytona Beach, Florida to David and Jennifer Herring.

He moved to Southern Illinois in 2010.  Davey was a first mate on the river boat for ADM.

Davey is survived by his parents Dave and Jennifer Herring and Erin Cunningham. His three daughters; Kaia, Delcie and Cecilia Herring, their mother Shannon; and step sons Dylan and Gavin.  His brother, Tyler and sister, Serena.  His Grandma Ruby and aunts Tracy Fitzgerald and Vicki Hill. His cousins Barbra Meadows and Scott Essary, uncle Larry and aunt Dottie.  Grandma Ernie and Grandpa Jack, aunt Kin and uncle Chris.

Davey loved to fish and will be cremated and returned to his favorite fishing spot at the red house.  I Love you too much!

Funeral service will be Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 7 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Kent Eaton officiating.  Visitation will be Saturday from 5 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
