David J. Triplett

Herrin- David Joe Triplett, 53, of Herrin died at 2:05 A.M., Friday, April 27, 2001 at Union County Hospital in Anna, IL. David was born on July 28, 1947 in Herrin to the late Clifton "Jock" & Minnie (Ansinelli) Triplett. Mr. Triplett served his country in the US Navy from December 9, 1966 to January 18, 1968. While in the Navy, David was stationed in both Argentina and Newfoundland. SURVIVORS: Aunt- Lois Ansinelli- Herrin Aunt- Faye Triplett- Glendale, AZ Several Cousins Caregiver- Bill Woodhouse- Herrin His parents preceded him in death. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 30, 2001 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Don Colson will officiate. Entombment will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. The Herrin VFW and American Legion Posts will provide military Rites. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until time of service Monday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Marion VA Voluntary Service and will be accepted at the funeral home.
