David N. Eagan

David Noah Squeak Eagan, age 58, of Marion, died Monday, July 2nd at 3:16 P.M. at Franklin Hospital Skilled Care Unit in Benton. Visitation for Mr. Eagan will be from 5:00-9:00 P.M. Thursday, July 5th at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. The funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 6th with Father Richard Mohr and Rev. Kevin McNeely officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Marion. Mr. Eagan was born April 4, 1943, in Kankakee to Noah and Betty Jo (Sands) Eagan. He married Renee Devereux on July 7, 1993 in Anchorage, Alaska. He was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church, the KCs and the Elks Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He was retired from SIU where he worked as a Systems Programmer. Mr. Egans survivors include the following: his wife, Renee, of Marion; his mother, Betty Jo Eagan of Finley, Illinois; daughters, Shelly Eagan of Murphysboro and Renee Devereux of Mt. Juliet, TN; his grandmother, Nancy Sands of Champaign, IL; one brother, Randall Bruce Eagan of Denver, Colorado; one sister & bro-in-law, Candy & Walter Miller of St. Joseph, IL; two nephews & one niece Jeremy, Wesley, & Amanda Miller. He was preceded in death by his father and grandfather.
