Debra L. Malin

Marion- Debra L. Malin, 56, of Marion, passed away at 6:15 Am, Saturday, March 19, 2011 at her home in Marion. Debra was born on October 9, 1954 in Alton, IL to Cleo G. & Darlene (Farris) Sewell. She married Michael F. Malin on March 25, 1978 in Marion. He survives of Marion. She was retired from Verizon after thirty seven years of employment. She enjoyed spending time outdoors with her friends and family, especially water sports and sports cars. She also enjoyed gardening, travel, shopping and animals. Survivors include- Husband- Michael F. Malin of Marion Parents- Cleo & Darlene Sewell of Festus, MO Daughter- Amanda (Malin) Diamantis and husband Philip of Hoover, AL Son- Michael E. Malin of Bloomington Granddaughter- Mia Rae Diamantis of Hoover, AL Sister- Kathy Smith and husband Larry of Loganville, GA Sister- Di Brown and husband Kevin of Festus, MO Sister in law- Lisa Harris and husband Raymond of Paducah, KY Nieces- Jennifer and Reece Pegues of Suwanee, GA Nephew- Tony Smith of Marion Nephew- Devin Brown of Festus, MO Niece- Deryn Brown of Festus, MO Great Nephews- Matthew and Evan Pegues of Suwanee, GA Many close friends A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon, Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. A visitation will be from 10:00 Am until time of service, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
