HERRIN - Della (Butterio) Patrick, 76, died at 11:25 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, in Herrin.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, in Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin, with Monsignor Ken Schaefer officiating. Burial will be in San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, at the funeral home. There will be a prayer service at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Patrick was a homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin.
She was born March 13, 1931, in Herrin to Joseph and Virginia (Ronsi) Butterio. She married Raymond A. Patrick on April 7, 1952, in Pochontas, Ark. They shared 45 years of marriage until his passing May 22, 1997.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Carlo M. and Carol Patrick of Danbury, Conn., and Charles M. and Penny Patrick of Herrin; two daughters, Mary Ann Greathouse and fianc, Thomas Wright, of Hurst and Virginia "Ginny" Patrick-Brown and her fianc, Scott Cook, of Herrin; grandchildren, John R. Patrick and wife, Shanna, of Herrin, Rachael Shane and husband, Kent, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; Shannon Hagler and fianc, Shawn Ulbricht, of West Palm Beach, Fla., Andrea Hagler and fianc, Eric Atmore, of North Fort Myers, Fla., Victor Hagler, who is stationed in Iraq with the U.S. Army, and wife, Amanda, of Richmond Hill, Ga., Travis Brown of North Dakota, Sean Brown of Herrin and David R. Greathouse II of Hurst; great-grandchildren, Amanda and Jamie Patrick of Valley City, N.D., Tyler J. Patrick of Herrin, Jordan Click of Richmond Hill, Ga., MaKenzi Hagler of Richmond Hill, Ga., and Connor and Riley Shane of Fort Wayne, Ind.; several nieces and nephews; and special niece, Patricia Labelle of Herrin; and Sister-In-Law- Louise and Olive Butterio of Herrin, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five sons; a grandson, Jamie Patrick; two brothers; and three sisters.
