Delmar (Peck) Stacy

Herrin- Delmar Peck Stacy, 70, of Herrin, passed away at 3:30 PM, Friday, June 10, 2005 at his home surrounded by his loving wife and family. Delmar was born on August 15, 1934 in Herrin to John Thomas & Lora Mae (Forbes) Stacy. He married June Triplett on October 9, 1981 in Christopher. She survives of Herrin. He worked many years for the City of Marion in the Water & Sewer Department prior to his retirement in 1976. He was a member of the Herrin Veterans of Foreign Wars. SURVIVORS: Son- Randall Stacy- Herrin Son- Del Ray Stacy- Marion Daughter- Debbie Stone- Louisiana Daughter- Susan Kent- Marion Step-Son- James Triplett- Herrin Step-Son- Robert Triplett- Herrin Step-Son- Arthur Triplett- Tennessee Step-Daughter- Carolyn Triplett- St. Louis, MO Twenty-Two Grandchildren Thirty-Three Great Grandchildren Many loved nieces & nephews He was preceded in death by his parents, twenty one brothers & sisters and one granddaughter, Amanda Jeralds. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM, Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Don Colson will officiate. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery.
