Delois Marie Strunk

Delois Marie Strunk, 73, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2008 at 3:45 P.M. at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Delois was born December 15, 1934 the daughter of James and Maude (Rector) Corder in Williamson County. She married Virgil E. Strunk, Sr. on February 26, 1954 in Chicago and together they have shared over 54 years of marriage. Delois was a homemaker and a member of 1st United Pentecostal Church of Johnston City. Survivors include: Husband Virgil E. Strunk, Sr. Son - Virgil E. Strunk, Jr. and wife Melanie of Marion Three Daughters; Lana M. Walker and husband Nathan of Marion Beverly Raudenbush and husband Bobby of Carterville Paula Tindall and husband Randy of Valier Six Grandchildren Four Great Grandchildren Dear friend Penny Smith of Marion Preceded by Parents, Granddaughter Sabrina Strunk and infant brother Funeral services will be Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Mike Glasco officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to 1st United Pentecostal Church of Johnston City and will be accepted at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.
