Herrin - Delores (Dean) DeZutti, 75, died at 9:47 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at Herrin Hospital.
Mrs. DeZutti was born March 8, 1928 in Colp, IL to John and Kathleen (Melroy) Bell.
She graduated from the St. Louis School of Cosmetology in 1944 and began her hair styling career at Madelon's Beauty Shop in Herrin. She later worked as a psychiatric Aide for the former Dixon State Hospital in Dixon, IL. Delores endured a sustained and prolonged illness yet never lost her will to survive. She remained a loyal, loving mother, sister, and friend to the end.

Her parents, former husband, Jimmie DeZutti and several aunts, uncles and cousins preceded her in death.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 2, 2003 at Johnson Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Don Colson and Msg. Ken Schaefer will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Herrin City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Cystic Fibrosis, The American Heart or the American Lung Associations and will be accepted at the funeral home.
