Delores J. Brandon

Hurst-Delores J. Brandon, age 76, of Hurst, passed away at 8:25 P.M., on Monday, July 3, 2006 at her residence surrounded by her family. Delores was born in Hurst on April 4, 1930 to Ralph and Beaulah (Holland) Dryden. She married Kenneth Brandon on November 11, 1982 in Colp. He survives in Hurst. Mrs. Brandon was a member of the United Methodist Church in Hurst. Survivors include- Husband- Kenneth Brandon-Hurst, IL 3 Sons- Mark Sanders- Hurst, IL David and Linda Brandon- Elkville, IL Randall and Debbie Brandon- Boron, CA 1 Daughter- Pamela and Jarrell Smith- Cambria, IL Daughter-In-Law- JoAnn Sanders- Royalton, IL 10 Grandchildren- Chris and Jason Schafer- Elkville, IL Kari and Ryan Schriber- St Louis, MO John and Kathy Jackson- Royalton, IL Devon May- Herrin, IL Elizabeth Hunt- Herrin, IL Melody and Charles Smith- Royalton, IL Josh Brandon- Elkville, IL Jacob Brandon- Elkville, IL Rachel Sanders- Royalton, IL BJ Sanders- Royalton, IL 9 Great Grandchildren- Seth and Noah Barnes- Elkville, IL Dax May- Herrin, IL Ashley and Ryan Jackson- Royalton, IL Jack and Ava Schriber- St Louis, MO Gage and Colton Smith- Royalton, IL Sister and Brother-In-Law- Cleta and Harry Stapleton- Marion, IL Sister- Betty Rutherford- Nashville, IL Mrs. Brandon was preceded in death by her parents, her son- Rudy Joe Sanders, and her brother- Kenneth Dryden. Funeral services for Mrs. Brandon will be held at 11am on Friday, July 7, 2006 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with the Rev. Gary Billiot officiating. Burial will follow at Blairsville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-9pm on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
