Dennis M. Black

Marion Dennis Michael Black, 53, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 9:54 p.m. at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Dennis was born July 13, 1954 in Cook County to James M. and Theresa (Heydenman) Black, Sr. He married Judy E. Blumenstock on May 26, 1995 in Metropolis, IL, and she survives. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Marion. Survivors include: Wife Judy of Marion Son David Albert Blumenstock of Pinckneyville Brother James Black of Carbondale Three Sisters; Pat Flener of Ashland, TN Eileen Lrums of Madisonville, KY Denise Murray of Carbondale Preceded by Parents and two Brothers: Robert and Timothy Black Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Kenny Blumenstock and Pastor Bobby Parker officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
