Bush- Dexter Waldron, 75, of Bush, formerly of Cambria, died at 7:44 PM, Tuesday, February 11, 2003 at his home.
Dexter was born on March 26, 1927 in Cambria to Joseph & Ines (Poston) Waldron. He was a WWII Air Force Veteran, having served in the South Pacific.
Mr. Waldron was an automobile mechanic. He formerly worked in the coalmines and for the railroad. He attended Crossroads Tabernacle Church in Hurst.
He enjoyed farming, gardening and spending time telling stories with his buddies at the Dairy Queen. He would sell produce from his garden at the Farmers Market in Herrin when he was able.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers; Donald & Joseph Waldron.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 14, 2003 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Sister Naomi Carter will officiate. Burial will follow at Blairsville Cemetery with military rites provided by the Herrin VFW & American Legion Posts. Visitation will be from 5-9:00 PM, Thursday, February 13, 2003 at the funeral home.
