Donald E. Zins

Marion- DONALD ZINS, age 66, of Marion, passed away at 9:45am on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at his home in Marion. Donald was born in St Paul, MN on October 18, 1944, the son of William Joseph and Evelyn (Blaske) Zins. He married Martha Dora Lasso at their home on May 24, 1995. She survives in Marion. Mr. Zins was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marion. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias, the Marion VFW Post #1301. Donald was a Vietnam Veteran. Survivors include his wife Martha Zins of Marion, IL Four brothers- James Zins of Cottage Grove, MN Richard Zins of San Diego, CA Robert Zins of South St Paul, MN Stephen Zins of Oronoco, MN He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers- Joseph and David Zins. Funeral services will be held at 5pm on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Father Richard Mohr officiating.
