Donald Martin Huse

Donald Martin Huse, age 55, of Marion, Illinois, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024 at his home in Marion, Illinois.

Donald was born March 12, 1968 in Chicago Heights, Illinois, a son of Thomas Huse and Sandra Sue (Personius) Graves. Donald proudly served with the US Navy for 18 years.

He is survived by one son, Shawn Huse of AK; two grandchildren, Sebastian Huse and Izzibella Huse; and three siblings, Thomas J. (Lisa) Huse Jr. of Marion, IL, Tonia Huse of Marion, IL, and Kathy McCarty of Murfreesbobo, TN. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas J. Huse Sr. and Sandra Sue Graves and two siblings, Billy McCarty and Peggy McCarty.

Graveside services with be Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 11 am at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. Military rites will be presented by members of the Marion VFW Post #1301, American Legion Post #147 and the Navy ritual team. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the cemetery. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
