Dora Lou Plumlee

Dora Lou Plumlee, age 79, of West Frankfort, passed away at 9:09pm on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Herrin Hospital.

Dora was born in Benton on November 30, 1940, the daughter of Abraham and Annabelle (Moore) Summers. She married Bobby Gene Plumlee on November 14, 1959 in Chicago. He preceded her in death on May 11, 1999.

Dora was a homemaker. She attended the First Assembly of God Church in West Frankfort, when her health allowed.

Survivors include her daughter- Vanda Gene West of California
Son- Edwin McKim of West Frankfort

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son- James Eugene Plumlee, two granddaughters- Sarah and Amy Lou Fisher, four sisters and one brother.

As per her wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services. Inurnment will take place at Harrison Cemetery in Buckner at a later date. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with final arrangements.
