Doris G. Morris

Herrin- DORIS G. MORRIS, age 81, of Herrin, passed away at 4:02am on Monday, June 20, 2011 at Shawnee Christian Nursing Center in Herrin. Doris was born in Cambria on June 11, 1930, the daughter of Isreal and Gettie (Hampton) Waldron. She was a homemaker. Survivors include three sons- Bobby Ridings of Mulkeytown, IL Marvin L. Ridings of Freeman Spur, IL Charlie Preston Morris of Herrin, IL Two Daughters- Lana Bailey of St Louis, MO Lou Ann Harmon of Herrin, IL Five Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and four sisters- Hazel Bailey, Fern Talluto, Betty Polich, and Jane Murray. Private graveside services will be held at Blairsville Cemetery. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with arrangements.
