Marion Edith Humphrey, 85 died Friday, December 03, 2004 at 8:25 A.M. at Parkway Manor in Marion. Edith was born June 02, 1919 to Henry and Kathryn Bickhaus in Quincy, Illinois. She married Edward Owen Humphrey on August 25, 1940 in St. Patrick, Missouri and he survives in Marion. Edith was a homemaker. She worked as a medical secretary/bookkeeper in Quincy. Humphrey and wife Susan of Marion Four Grandchildren: Beth Ramsey of Indianapolis, IN Sarah Humphrey of Edwardsville, IL Zachary Humphrey of Marion LouAnna Humphrey of Marion Brother Charles Bickhaus of Kewanee, IL Half-Sister Dorothy Tamagawa of Kaneohe, Hawaii Preceded by: Parents, Two Half-Brothers Earl Bickhaus and Joseph Bickhaus and One Half-Sister Margaret Clark. The Funeral Mass will be Monday, December 06, 2004 at 12:00 P.M. at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Marion with Rev. Stephen J. Humphrey officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 10:30 A.M. until the time of service at the Church. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in the National Cemetery in Mounds. For those who prefer, memorials may be given to the Parkinsons Foundation.
