August 3, 2006 Obituary Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home PLEASE USE PIC & WEB INFO EDNA L. TEAGUE Herrin- Edna L. Teague, 86, of Herrin, passed away at her home Wednesday, August 2, 2006. Edna was born on September 4, 1919 in Carterville to Thurman & Augusta (Guenther) Hale. She married Floyd Mauzy. He preceded her in death on January 23, 1977. She married Charles Teague on October 3, 1981 in Herrin. He preceded her in death on November 16, 1996. Mrs. Teague was a member of West Monroe Apostolic Church. SURVIVORS: Niece & nephew- Patricia & Richard Walter- Herrin Nephew & niece- David & Anita Hale- Madison, MS Great Nieces & Nephews: Rick Walter & wife Christy- Royalton David Walter & wife Kelly- Jacksonville, IL Chad Walter- New York, NY Sara Walter- Herrin Jason Hale & wife Karyn- Alexandria, LA Lynita Williams & husband Daryle- Ocala, FL Great Great Nieces & nephews: Christopher, Jacqueline & Melissa Walter Strider Walter Reeve & Hayley Williams Step Daughter- Betty Longman & husband Jack- Oregon Step Grandchildren: Sherry, David & Donnie She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, son; Donnie Mauzy, brother; Linford Hale, and three sisters; Marie Baggett, Lucille Hale & Louise Beavers. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 5, 2006 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Terry Griffith will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Carterville. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until time of service, Saturday at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home.
