Marion- Elizabeth A. Poole-Maynard, age 49, of Marion, passed away at her home in Marion at 5:50pm on Friday, July 15, 2011. Elizabeth was born on July 13, 1962 in Marion to Robert Dean & Nancy (Wyatt) Poole. She married Doug Maynard on July 27, 2009 in Marion. He survives of Marion. Her background in nursing at an early age led to a career with Fifth Season Residential in Marion most recently as floor manager. She was a Christian and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends; especially her grandkids. She was a good listener and always had time for those who needed her. In her spare time she enjoyed making candles. Survivors include- Father- Robert Dean Poole and wife Pat of Murphysboro Grandmother- Vergie Poole of Carbondale Daughter- Nancy Lindley of Marion Daughter- Ashley Smith of Marion Daughter- Kimberly Smith and husband Timothy of West Frankfort Six Grandchildren: Talliyah Craig David Lindley, Jr Kiandra Craig Aquaila Bella Smith Veronika Roni Turner Sister- Kimberly Poole of Marion Brother- Christopher Poole and wife Zina of Marion Several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her mother, Brother- Robert Steven Poole and half sister- Tracey Poole. Memorial services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Brother Jim Fosse officiating. A time of gathering will be held from 1-2pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
