Elizabeth L. McNeill-McPheron

Herrin- Elizabeth L. McNeill-McPheron, 72, of Herrin, passed away at 3:05pm on Thursday May 5, 2005 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Elizabeth was born November 23, 1932 in Ashley, IL to Bert and Pearl (Sanders) Witzel. She married Donald H. McNeill on September 14, 1952 in Herrin. He preceded her in death on March 10, 1995. She married Ronald McPheron in Kentucky in October of 2000. He survives in Herrin. Mrs. McNeill-McPheron was the former owner of Dons Jewelry in Herrin. She enjoyed playing bridge and painting. Survivors include- Husband- Ronald McPheron- Herrin, IL 1 daughter- Dawn McNeill- Herrin, IL 1 son and daughter-in-law- Steve and Diana McNeill- Herrin, IL 7 grandchildren- Marnie McNeill Matthew McNeill Elizabeth McNeill Jamie Satterfield Patrick McNeill Molly McNeill Ryan Judd 1 great grandson Brother and sister-in-law- Charles and Neva Witzel- Centralia, IL Sister and brother-in-law- Doris and Jack Trail- Moraga, CA Several nieces and nephews Preceded in death by: Her first husband, Donald Her parents 1 son- Mark McNeill Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday May 9, 2005 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with the Rev. Michael Tettmeyer officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home on Monday May 9, 2005 from 1:00-2:00pm.
