Ella Mildred Milligan

Marion Ella Mildred Milligan, 89, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2006 at 11:17 A.M. at Parkway Manor. Mildred was born May 20, 1917 to George Washington and Ada Pearl (Clutts) Cox. She married Paul Forbes on December 10, 1938. She later married Emery O. Milligan on June 15, 1957 and they were married until his death in 1996. Mildred was a 1935 graduate of Marion High School, and retired in 1973 after working as a teller at the Bank of Marion for 26 years. She was a faithful member of the Truthseekers Sunday School Class of Second Baptist Church and she enjoyed the fellowship of her classmates until declining health prevented her from attending services. Survivors include: Son Mike Forbes and wife Dana of Marion Two Grandchildren; Scott Forbes and wife Therese of Los Angeles, CA Karina Bohn and husband Brad of Scottsdale, AZ One Great Grandchild Cade Michael Bohn of Scottsdale, AZ Three Step-Children; Larry Milligan and wife Pat of Johnston City Linda Riggs of the Lake of Egypt Amanda Miller of California Seven Step-Grandchildren including Jason and Wendy Milligan of OFallon and Cami and Tim Hovda of Greenwood, IN Several Step Great Grandchildren Brother James and Viola Cox of Marion. Preceded by Parents, Husband Paul Forbes, Husband Emery Milligan, her only sister Beulah Cagle and step-son Gary Milligan. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 24, 2006 at 12:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Floyd Dorris officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
