Marion- Elva M. Cash-Gold, age 87, of Marion, passed away at 1:26AM on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.
Elva was born in Oxford, Michigan on January 28, 1928, the daughter of Fredrick H. and Agnes (Tibbets) Rossman. She married Ralph H. Cash in Piggott, Arkansas in 1947. He preceded her in death in 1985. She married Roy V. Gold in Marion on September 3, 1988. He preceded her in death on November 23, 2011.
Elva was a long time, very active member of the Marion Third Baptist Church. Her love for the Lord led her to serve as a teacher and faithful servant of God. She was known for her great cooking and also enjoyed gardening, canning and quilting. Elva loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family. She enjoyed traveling and cherished the winters she and Roy shared at Pine Island, Florida. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Step-Son: Don Gold and wife Danilla of Marion IL
Step-Son: Joe Gold and wife Barbara of Beach Park, IL

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, grandson- Travis Daniel Cash, brother- Fred Rossman, and two sisters- Lucille Morrell and Anna Rosebush.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Mitchell- Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Burial will follow at Fountain Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Ford will officiate. There will be a visitation from 5-8pm on Monday, July 20, 2015 at the funeral home.
