Emalie Josephine Bathon, 87, of Marion passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at 3 PM at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton, Indiana.
Emalie was born April 28, 1927 in Perry County, Illinois, the daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Poiter) Dudek. She married Albert David Bathon in October, 1948 in Pinckneyville, and together they shared almost 38 years of marriage until his death on September 20, 1986.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church from 1961. Emalie along with her husband were the owners of Farm Fresh in Marion until retirement.

The Funeral Mass will be Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 12 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. John C. Iffert officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 am – service time at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
