Pittsburg Estes E. Haseker, 91, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at 3:15 P.M. at the Rehab and Care Center of Jackson County. Estes was born August 6, 1919 in Williamson County the son of George & Alzada (Hartwell) Haseker. He married Mildred Phillips on November 25, 1955 in Corinth, Mississippi and together they have been blessed with over 54 years of marriage. He worked as a coal miner and Estes retired from Owens Machine Shop in Alton. He was a member of the Marion Third Baptist Church. He is survived by; Wife Mildred Haseker of Carbondale Three Daughters; Deborah L. Haseker and partner Cathy McClure of Johnston City Susan R. Libby and husband David of Baldwin, Missouri Christina Bergmann and husband Mike of Eureka, Missouri Four Granddaughters One Grandson Two Great Grandchildren Two Sisters; Louise Hardwig of Flemington, Missouri Nelma Mandrell of Branson, Missouri Preceded by his Parents, Two Sisters Helen Eberhart, Geneva Thompson and Brother George Haseker Funeral services will be Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 11 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Eberhart officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5 8 P.M. at the funeral home. For those who prefer memorials may be made to the Parkinsons Foundation. Envelopes will be available and accepted at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home, 800 North Market Street, Marion, Illinois 62959.
