Esther Virginia Sutton

Herrin- Esther Virginia Sutton, 78, of Herrin, passed away at 1:05 AM, Sunday, December 17, 2006 at her home. Esther was born on September 25, 1928 in Herrin to Carl Sigfrid & Bernice (Peters) Seaberg. She worked thirteen years at Smoller Bros in Herrin, but retired from the Williamson County Courthouse where she worked for seventeen years. She enjoyed reading and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. SURVIVORS: Son & daughter in law- Carl E. Sutton & Johanna Farrell- Springfield, VA Daughter in law- Pearl Sutton- Phoenix, AZ Sister- Idamae Brown- Effingham Five Grandchildren: Claudia & Nathan Jones- CO Clint & Joni Sutton- Virginia Beach Angie & Dewayne Gossett- Thompsonville, GA Heather & Daniel Todd- Pelham, GA Gail & Levi Heabenlin- Germany Seven Great Grandchildren Several Nieces & nephews Special cousin & caregiver- Kaye Heyder She was preceded in death by her parents, son- Steve Sutton, several aunts and uncles & one great grandson. As per her wishes she will be cremated. Memorial arrangements have been entrusted to Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Southern Illinois or a charity of the donors choice and will be accepted at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home/ Post Office Box 429/ Herrin, IL 62948.
