Ethel Myrtle Vaughan

Herrin - Ethel Myrtle Vaughan, 86, died at 6:l8 a. m. on Wednesday, October l7, 2001 at Herrin Hospital. Mrs. Vaughan was born March 11, l9l5 in Herrin to James Harrison and Julia Ethel Boyd Finney. She marred Adrian Dorsay Vaughan in Herrin. He preceded her in death. She worked in the office for 30 plus years for Ford Motor Company in Michigan. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Herrin. She was a loving grandmother to her five grandchildren. Survivors: 5 grandchildren Several great grandchildren Brother - Bill Finney - Herrin, IL Sister - Jewell Finney - Herrin Sister - Ellen Ruth Anderson - St. Petersburg, FL Her parents, husband, one son, James Adrian Vaughan and one daughter, Barbra Ruth Eichner, two sisters and two brothers, preceded her in death. Graveside funeral services will be held in Riverview, Michigan on Monday, October 22, 2001 at Fern Dale Cemetery. Visitation was Friday, October l9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Johnson Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. A Prayer Service with Rev. Lee Lovett officiating was held at 5 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
