Marion Ethel I. Patton, 88, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2006 at 1:30 A.M. at Canterbury Ridge in Urbana, Illinois.
Ethel was born November 16, 1917 in Lawrenceville, Illinois to George and Daisy (Gray) Tennyson; she was the last of 5 children surviving. She married Floyd James Patton on June 15, 1935 in Springfield, Missouri and together they shared over 36 years of marriage until his death on October 15, 1971.
Ethel was a homemaker. She was a member of Heartland Christian Church.

Preceded by Parents, Husband Floyd, Two Sisters Dorothy Lloyd and Margaret Fesperman and Two Brothers Willard Tennyson and George Tennyson, Jr.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 27, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Randy Allison officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will Friday from Noon until the time of service at Mitchell-Hughes.
