Eunice Aline Moeller

Eunice Aline Moeller, age 67, of rural Marion, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at her home.

Eunice was born November 24, 1956 in Vincennes, Indiana, a daughter of Lester and Mable F. (Malone) Cornwell. Eunice grew up in Lawrenceville, IL and moved to Marion at age 16. She married Clifford E. Moeller on December 30, 1983 in Carterville, IL. She worked at Mattingly's Nursing Home in Energy, Illinois and was also self employed cleaning houses. Eunice was a very devoted wife and mother to her children and grandchildren. She loved music and played the piano and sang often. She was a member of the Apostolic House of Worship in Marion.

She is survived by two children, Sonya L. (Shannon) Braden of West City, IL and Christopher L. Moeller of Marion, IL; three grandchildren, Steven George, Johnathon (Stehanie) Rice, and Quintin (Makkie) Rice; ten great-grandchildren, Lilyona Rice, Octavia Rice, Haisly Rice, Samantha Rice, Aurora Rice, Alexavier Rice, August Rice, Sayler-Mae Rice, Rebel Rice, and Adien Rice; one brother, Steve Cornwell of Goreville, IL; and a host of nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Clifford E. Moeller; one daughter, Twila D. Moeller; her parents, Lester P. and Mable F. Cornwell; and four siblings, Norma Helderman, Devedia Terry, Donna Kidd, and Bub Cornwell.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 4th, 2024 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Mitchell Hughes Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Mitchell Hughes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Paulton.
