Evelyn L. Eairheart-Buckner

Marion- EVELYN L. EAIRHEART-BUCKNER, age 86, of Marion, passed away at 7:55am on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Evelyn was born on September 18, 1920 in Marion to Richard and Nellie (Bloodworth) Peterson. She married Floyd Eairheart in Marion in 1946. He preceded her in death on December 28, 1966. She later married Fred Buckner in Marion on December 23, 1989. He preceded her in death on October 30, 2003. Mrs Eairheart-Buckner was a homemaker and formerly worked at Fountains Nursing Home in Marion. Survivors include two sons: Larry & Ralph Eairheart of Marion; three grandsons: Terry & his wife Christina Eairheart of Marion, Brian Eairheart of Marion, and T.J. & his wife Tina of West Frankfort; four great grandsons: Austin, Kennen (Cody), Dakota, & Joshua; and one great granddaughter: Taylor Eairheart. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, one brother, and one son- Tommy Eairheart. Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Monday, January 8, 2007 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
