Evelyne E. Baker,  91, of Marion passed away on Friday, October 03, 2014 at 5:40 am at the Saline Care Center in Harrisburg. Evelyne was born October 19, 1922 in Scottsboro the daughter of Benton R. and Ila P. (Groves) Davis.  She was first united in marriage to Robert James Eairheart and he preceded her in death, she then married Robert J. McDannel who preceded her in death on September 8, 1982, and she then later married Ed Baker who preceded her in death on October 15, 1996. She was a member of the Marion Seventh Day Adventist Church and Evelyne retired from Wal-Mart. Survivors include her; Son – Robert Eairheart of Marion Daughter – Janet Otey and husband Gary of Marion Daughter – Vicki Mann and husband Thomas of Johnston City Seven grandchildren; Trisha Butler Brian A. Eairheart David & Kristi Otey Sarah & Greg Behm Richelle Price Thomas & Katie Mann, Jr. Elizabeth Mann Four great grandchildren; Braden Behm Eveiah Behm Chloe Mann Gavie Scott Preceded by her Parents, Husbands, daughter-in-law – Karen Eairheart, two brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 2 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Emery and Pastor Thomas Mann officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday from Noon until the time of service at the funeral home. For those who prefer memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.  Envelopes will be available and accepted at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home, 800 North Market Street, Marion, IL  62959.
