Marion Felix Earl Frassato, 78, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at 6:00 A.M. at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Felix was born April 16, 1930 the son of Felix and Ethel (Campbell) Frassato in Swanwick, Illinois. He married Carole W. Lewis on October 8, 1948 in Piggott, Arkansas and together they have shared over 60 years of marriage. He was a member of 3rd Baptist Church and had owned his own trucking company. In addition to his wife Carole, he is survived by; Son James Frassato and wife Laura of Marion Son Eric Frassato and wife Susan of Sesser Son Ronald Frassato and wife Susie of Highland Son Donald Frassato and Companion Teresa Smith of Marion Son Bobby Frassato and wife Leslie of Marion Son Randy Frassato and wife Beth of Marion Daughter Sherry Gockel and husband Terry of McAlister, OK Seventeen Grandchildren Thirteen Great Grandchildren Brother Kenneth Frassato of Marion Brother Richard Frassato and wife Marilyn of Las Vegas, NV Sister Betty Manuel and husband Darwin of Brea, CA Great Aunt Agnes Grafton of Coulterville Preceded by Parents, Infant brother, James Frassato Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Shacklee officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in Swanwick, Illinois. For those who prefer memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or National Kidney Foundation. Envelopes will be available and accepted at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home, 800 North Market, Marion, IL 62959.
