FERN LARSON Marion Fern Larson, 86, died at 4:33 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2003, at her residence. Fern was born October 25, 1916 in Marion to William L. & Ada (Teal) Miller. She married Lawrence S. Larson. He preceded her in death on June 9, 1980. Fern was a homemaker. Survivors include: 2 Sons & Daughter-in-laws: Lawrence E. Larry & Ruth Larson, Florence Texas Clarence E. & Tammy Larson, West Frankfort Seven Grandchildren: Lynn & husband Freddie Mendoza Keith Larson & friend Ursula Engler Kurt Larson & friend Susan Parry Robin & husband Chris Brown Ranae & husband James Sharp Kellie & husband Barry Barker Chad & Telisa Larson Five Great grandchildren: Justin Mendoza, Jenny Brown, Alex Brown, Abby Brown & Brett Runge Sister Opal Bradley of Marion Many friends & neighbors Preceded by: Parents, son, Raymond A. Larson, three sisters and seven brothers Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Memorial envelopes are available at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 15 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home. Pastor John Lomacang will officiate a private graveside service at Rose Hill Cemetery.
