Flobelle White, age 88, of Ypsilanti, Mich., formerly of Marion, died at 2 a.m. Thursday, May 24th at Heartland Health Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles Mosier officiating, with burial following in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 23rd at the funeral home.
Mrs. White was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Tabernacle in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was born Oct. 29, 1912, in Marion to W.F. and Emma Wilson Rector. She married George Elmo White on March 29, 1930, in Marion. He survives. Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and the Rev. Charles Mosier; a sister, Dora Klope; two granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Debbie and Michael Brannon, Tricia and Tim Kilbreath; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers: Loren Rector, Herman Rector and Orval Rector; and 4 sisters: Verna Ridlen, Daisy Killman, Maude Corder, and Genell White.
