Frances Celeste Wade

Carterville- Celeste Wade, 70, of Carterville, formerly of Herrin, passed away at 9:22 AM, Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Herrin Hospital. Celeste was born on October 6, 1942 in Chicago to Francis and Gladys Beatrice (Hinckle) Studer. She married Bill Wade on July 11, 1961 at St. Pauls Catholic Church in Johnston City. He survives of Carterville. Celeste was a homemaker and member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, sewing and crocheting and spending time with her family. Survivors include- Son- Marc William Wade and wife Debra of Carterville Son- Scott Andrew Wade and wife Marsha of Carterville Daughter- Jobie Wade-Moore of Shreveport, LA Eight grandchildren: Shane Wade and wife Andrea of Crab Orchard Sean Wade and wife Jennifer of Energy Miranda Higgins of Herrin Mickenzie Devening and husband Korey of Herrin Dakota Wade of Crab Orchard Crayton, Colton and Callie Moore of Shreveport, LA Five great grandchildren: Conner and Hudson Wade Preston Myers Jackson and Olivia Wade Brother- Glenn R. Studer and wife Anita of Christopher Sister- Juanita Earl of Mattoon Brother- David Studer and wife Tracy of Herrin Brother in law- Harry Wade and wife Ann of Herrin Several nieces, nephews and cousins She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM, Monday, January 21, 2013 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Monsignor Thomas D. Flach will officiate. A time of gathering will be from 5:00 PM until time of service Monday evening at the funeral home.
