Frances Juanita (Needham) Reed

Herrin- Frances Juanita (Needham) Reed, age 74, of Herrin, passed away at 7:30pm on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at her home in Herrin. Frances was born in Wynne, Arkansas on July 6, 1942, the daughter of Thomas and Naomi (Neil) Needham.  Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a waitress and Mattingly Nursing Home. Survivors include her daughter- Patricia and Jack Blackburn of VanBuren, Arkansas Son- Ricky Mize of Bush Son- Ronnie Mize of Arkansas Daughter- Susan Followell of Zeigler Son- David and Tracey Brasel of Bush Daughter- Paula and Steve Smith of Bush Daughter- Tammy and Chester Helderman of Sesser Step-daughter- Connie and Jason Licka of Buncombe Step-son- Jimmy Jordan of Herrin Step-son- Wayne and Brittany Jordan of Herrin 31 Grandchildren 8 Great Grandchildren 2 Great Great Grandchildren 10 siblings She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter- Teresa Reed, special friend- Wendell Jordan, brother- Charles Needham, and her beloved dog- Baby. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday, October 31, 2016 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Mr. Kyle Ray Smith and Rev. George Needham officiating. Burial will follow at Blairsville Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home.
