Frank A. Triplett

Herrin- Frank A. Triplett, 28, of Herrin, passed away at 12:00 PM, Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Herrin Hospital. Frank was born on April 27, 1983 in Herrin to James A. and Minnie (Zietek) Triplett. He was a Herrin High School graduate and was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps. Most recently he worked in the maintenance department of Quality Inn in Marion. Frank was outgoing and athletic. He enjoyed coaching youth as a wrestling coach for the SI Road Warriors and as a little league football coach. He had an optimistic and positive outlook on most everything and always had a reason to celebrate. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Survivors include- Parents- James and Minnie Triplett of Herrin Grandmother- June Stacy of Herrin Daughter- Mia Triplett of Benton Twin bother- James Triplett and wife Jessica of Herrin Sister- Stephanie Bandera and fianc Barry Watson of Herrin Sister- Stacie Triplett and fianc Josh Boyd of Glen Carbon Companion- Cindy Hawes and children- Alexis Hawes, Devonte Jones and IJ Hill of Herrin Nine nieces and nephews: Kristyn Breault Blake Watson Katelynn and Caden Bandera Zoie and Zara Boyd James Triplett III and Natalie and Skyla Triplett He was preceded in death by his grandparents, daughter- Ivy Triplett and uncle- Frank Zietek. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Don Colson will officiate. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11-1:00 PM, Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home.
