Johnston City- FRANK C. ANTONINI, age 80, of Johnston City, passed away on
Thursday, April 26, 2007 at his residence in Johnston City.
Frank was born in Johnston City on June 13, 1926, the son of Carlo and Theresa Borroni Antonini. Frank was a retired television repairman. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. Frank enjoyed watching television, especially Nascar Races, always cheering on Jeff Gordon. He was a member of Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin and the Herrin American Legion.
Survivors include:
his sister- Madalene Antonini of Johnston City
two nephews- Charles Thomas Antonini and his wife Phyllis of Henderson, KY
Jack Ray Antonini and his wife Penny of Danville, IL
Several great nieces and nephews
Frank was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Roy Antonini.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Monday, April 30, 2007 at Johnson-
Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Monsignor Ken Schaefer officiating. Burial
will follow at San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin, with military rites performed by
Herrin's American Legion and VFW Posts. Visitation will be held from 6-9pm on
Sunday, April 29, 2007 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. A prayer
service will be held at 6pm on Sunday evening at the funeral home.
