Frank Eugene Fisher

Marion Frank Eugene Fisher, 79, of Marion passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 7:05 A.M. at his home. Frank was born September 6, 1931 in Marion the son of John and Mary (Zoeller) Fisher. He married Shirley Colp on July 4, 1953 at Spillertown Baptist Church and together they have been blessed with over 58 years of marriage. He was a member of the First Church of God and Marion Masonic Fellowship Lodge 89 A.F. & A.M. He retired from General Telephone. Frank owned Dairy Queens in West Frankfort and Mt. Carmel. Survivors include; Wife Shirley Fisher of Marion Daughter Rhonda J. Edwards and husband Sam of Marion Three grandsons; Jeremy Allen and wife Megan of Brighton, Tennessee Blake Edwards of Marion Frank Dillon Edwards of Marion Great Grandson Cameron Edwards Two sisters; Barbara Travelstead and husband Ronald of Marion Pearl Miller of Marion Preceded by his Parents, Eleven Brothers and Sisters. Funeral services will be Friday, August 19, 2011 at 11 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Pastor Bennie Fisher and Rev. David Colp officiating. Entombment will follow in Egyptian Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5 8 P.M. at the funeral home with Masonic services at 7 P.M.
