Herrin - Frank M. Zietek, Sr., 79, 508 South 28th, died at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2001 at his home. Mr. Zietek was born March 24, l922 in Pontiac, MI to Louie and Minnie Zietek. He was married to Francine Vigiano on September l0, l956 in Pontiac, MI. She survives of Herrin. Survivors include: His wife - Francine Zietek of Herrin Son - Frank Zietek, Jr. - Herrin Daughter and son in law -Minnie and James Triplett - Herrin Daughter - Linda Salacina - Petroski, MI 4 grandchildren - Stephanie and Ryan Bandera - Herrin Stacie Triplett - Herrin Twin grandsons - James and Frank Triplett - San Diego, CA in the U. S. Marines 4 great grandchildren - Kristyn Breault, Katelyn Bandera, Caden Bandera, and Cory Bandera - all of Herrin Sister - Barbara Rowland - MC His parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers preceded him in death. He was a member of OLMC Catholic Church and a World War II Veteran of the U. S. Army. There will be no services per Mr. Zietek's request.
