Frank White

Frank L. White, 88, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 3:17 P.M. at the Marion Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Frank was born July 11, 1922 in Williamson County the son of Robert F. & Myrl C. (Carter) White. He married Mary Jane Odum on April 13, 1942 in Creal Springs and she preceded him in death on November 9, 1995. He was a decorated WWII veteran, proudly serving his country in the United States Air Force in the African Theater. Frank was of the Baptist faith and he was the owner of White Equipment for over 68 years. Survivors include; Four children; D.L. White and wife Diane of Marion Janice A. Mestas and husband Ted of Johnston City Jane W. Stone and husband Doug of Cedar Hill, Tennessee Gary R. White of Marion 8 Grandchildren; Andrea Fuller and husband Troy of Bartlett, Tennessee Jamie White and wife Kathy of Marion Ryan Mestas of Bowling Green, Kentucky Nicole Mestas of Johnston City Garrett Mestas of Johnston City Max Mestas of Johnston City Darcie L. White of Marion Jake Robert White of Marion Four Great Grandchildren Two sister-in-laws; Freida White of Marion Imogene White of Marion Preceded by his Parents and Wife. Funeral services will be Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 2 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Foeller officiating. Military rites will be presented by the National Guard Flag Detail Unit. Visitation will be from 1 P.M. until the time of service on Sunday at the funeral home.
