Frankie M. Zietek, Jr.

Herrin- Frank Frankie Max Zietek, Jr., 52, of Herrin, passed away at 7:18 AM, Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Frankie was born in Pontiac, Michigan on January 1, 1958, the son of Frank and Francine (Vigiano) Zietek. He attended school and graduated from Marion High School. He devoted his life to taking care of his parents. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved music, especially rock n roll, and liked to watch wrestling on television. Frankie was an important part of his family and will be deeply missed by all. He is survived by: Sister and his favorite brother-in-law- Minnie and James Triplett of Herrin, IL Niece- Stephanie Bandera and Barry Watson of Herrin, IL Niece- Stacie Triplett and Josh Boyd of Glen Carbon, IL Nephew- James and Jessica Triplett of Herrin, IL Nephew- Frank and Meghan Triplett of Carterville, IL Great nieces and nephews- Kristyn, Katelyn, Caden, Blake, Natalie, James and Skyla, all of Herrin, IL Zoie and Zara of Glen Carbon, IL and Mia of Carterville, IL Aunts- Anne Otey of Herrin, IL and Barbara Doerr of Clarkston, MI Several cousins He was preceded in death by his parents, great niece- Ivy Renae Triplett, several aunts and uncles, and a very special cousin- Cecilia Ann Vigiano. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 19, 2010 at San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin. Rev. Don Colson will officiate. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at the graveside. A dinner will follow at Our Directions Center located at 808 E. Herrin Road in Herrin. Memorial arrangements were entrusted to Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
