Herrin- Freda (Salyers) Porritt, 84, of Herrin, passed away at 5:50 AM, Monday, October 13, 2008 at Stonebridge Care Center in Benton. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Terry Griffith will officiate. Burial will follow at Blairsville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until time of service, Thursday at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
