Freeman Lee Jordan, age 55, of Goreville and a former resident of Marion passed away at 8:05 A.M. Tuesday, May 29, 2001, at Carbondale Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 31, 2001 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Don Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home on Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.
Mr. Jordan was born February 19, 1946 at Carbondale to Cecil & Della (Holly) Jordan.
Mr. Jordan was an over the road truck driver. He also owned & operated Rectors Phillips 66 service station in Marion.
He was of the catholic faith.

His parents, two sisters, Dimple Brewer & Mary Boester; six brothers, Walter, Robert, Billy, Buddy, Cecil & Phillip Jordan preceded him in death.
