Gary D. Havener, 57, of Crab Orchard, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 11:37 am at his home.
Gary was born March 19, 1959 in Kankakee the son of Dale Havener and Marjorie (Richey) Williams. He married Marcella Black on September 27, 1980 in Marion and together they have shared over 35 years of marriage, she survives in Crab Orchard.
He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the NRA and Modern Woodmen. Gary loved working on computers, reminiscing of the times he worked for Chester & Maribel Turner (and family) and family meals at his mothers’ house. His grandkids were the apple of his eye.

Son – Joseph Allen Dean “J.A.D.” Havener and wife Jodi of Herculaneum, Missouri

Step Dad that raised him – Eugene Dwyer and wife Louise of Crab Orchard
Preceded by Parents, Brother – Glenn Havener, Step Dad – Joe W. Williams and Father-in-law – Bobby Black.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 15, 2016 at 1 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Cutsinger and Rev. Bobby Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Coal Bank Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
