Geneva White

Marion Geneva S. White, 90, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2007 at 2:55 P.M. at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Geneva was born March 5, 1917 to Tilden & Margaret (Allen) Parks in Creal Springs. She married Julian H. White on March 30, 1935 and later this month they would have celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary. Geneva was a homemaker. She was a member of 2nd Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Julian of Marion, Daughter, Beverly Flood and husband Kenneth of LaGrange, Kentucky, Four Grandchildren; Amy Webster and husband John of Westport, KY, Bryan Flood of San Jose, CA, Kevin Flood and wife Jessica of Lexington, KY, Susan Bradley and husband Steven of Wises Landing, KY. Two Great Grandchildren; Julianne Webster and John Kragen Webster of Westport, KY. Brother, Tilden Parks of Marion. Several nieces and nephews. Preceded by Parents, Three sisters, Beaulah McCarty, Julie Gamble, Mary Borum and Four brothers, Theodore Parks, Milo Parks, Fred Parks, and Nathaniel Parks. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Bob Wagner & Rev. Ivan Ryan officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
