Marion Geneva Todd Chase, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2006 at 7:50 P.M. at her home in Marion.
Mrs. Chase was born March 30, 1916 in New Madrid County, Missouri to Milton & Nell (Hall) Spence. She married Harold L. Chase on August 21, 1943 in OFallen, Illinois and together they have shared over 62 years of marriage. He survives in Marion.
Mrs. Chase taught at Beulah Heights School in Eldorado. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Hospital Auxiliary, Methodist Women, and Sisters of Skillet.

Funeral services will be Monday, January 9, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with Revs Roger Perry, Joye Perry and Roger Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 8:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Monday at the Church.
For those who prefer memorials may be given to Hospice of Southern Illinois or Beulah Holiness Campground of Eldorado. Envelopes will be available at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.
