Gerald "G Man" Sandelski

Gerald "G Man" Sandelski officially became a member of "the band" on November 2, 2021. Gerald was a singer and a songwriter. He loved western movies and Johnny Cash. Gerald's favorite activities were singing, drinking coffee, gardening, and working jigsaw puzzles. He brought joy to the lives of everyone who met him. His smile lit up more than one room. Gerald's most beautiful blue eyes will be truly missed by many friends, but we know that we will sing with him again someday soon.

Born in Harvey, Illinois on July 11, 1943, the son of John and Elise Sandelski, he had six siblings- Sara, John, James, Linda, Paulie, and Martin. Gerald's father- John, his sister- Sara, and brothers- John and James preceded him in death.

A celebration of Gerald's life will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. A time of visitation will be held from 11-1pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
